The project included the repair of seven tunnels. The main works included reinforcement of lining cracks, water-stop grouting of leakage cracks and construction joints and filling cavities behind linings.The materials used were sodium silicate resin and polyurethane resin-based.As the railway was required to be operational, the works were carried out between midnight and 5am with

These works were carried out over about 8 km: “Lining Fissure Water-Stop Reinforcement Grouting”, “Lining partial flaking fill”, “Lining Seepage Reinforcement”, “Lining Water Channels”, ‘Self-Drilling Rock Bolt Consolidation Grouting Reinforcement”, to extend the useful life of the tunnels.
